To the North

The historic cobbled market town of Alnwick, famous for several unique areas including England’s largest 2nd hand book store ‘Barter Books’, Alnwick Castle - well known as a filming location for ‘Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone.’ Also situated within Alnwick is one of the region’s most popular attractions ‘The Alnwick Gardens’ with the newly opened and world’s largest outdoor play structure ‘Lilidorei’.

To the East

Look east to Northumberland’s coastline which is not only home to glorious sandy beaches, picturesque islands and impressive castles like Bamburgh Castle but also an array of seabirds, seals and dolphins. The Farne Islands, located just north of Seahouses are home to over 80,000 of Northumberland’s most iconic seabird, the Puffin. Holy Island is another beautiful island located just to the north of Bamburgh, and is accessible by car during certain tides. (Remember to check the tide time table).
